My green thuja junipers about 5 ft tall have new growth this year, but on the old growth there is white dusty, powdery stuff that will come off in your hand. Don't see any insects. Is this normal? Thx G Bowman |
Sounds like powdery mildew which is a fungal disease. You can control it with a sulfur spray or with neem oil such as Garden Safe Fungicide 3 or with Safer's garden fungicide. Be sure to apply according to label directions. |
