|Geraniums look nice about 8 months out of the year in the Valley of the Sun. They don't like the summer heat and will scorch in full sun from June through the end of August. You can plant geraniums in containers and move them around according to the season, or you can plant them in the garden where they will get morning sun and afternoon shade during the summer months. I plant mine in containers and keep them in full sun from September through April, then move them to an area where they get 3-4 hours of morning sun but shade in the afternoon. Hope this answers your question.
