I started growing cucumbers and string beans from seeds about 10 days ago. They are now about 10 inches tall and I still have 3 weeks before I can plant outdoors. They are falling over. Will they last? and will they take once planted?

If your plants are spindly and falling over, they aren't getting enough light. It's still too early to plant them outdoors so you'll need to adjust the supplemental lighting you have so you can provide more intense light. Fluorescent lights should be kept 2-3 inches above the tops of the plants and kept on for 14=16 hours per day. This way the plants won't have to reach for the light and they'll grow sturdy stems and healthy leaves. Hope this helps!
