| Royal paulownia trees are not very cold hardy so they're iffy for the Dallas area, and they grow to huge proportions so I wouldn't recommend growing one in a small yard. You might consider growing Texas Mountain Laurel which is a large shrub that can be pruned into a tree shape. It's much slower growing, evergreen and has lovely purple flowers similar to the Empress tree. |
