|I have a flowering orchid tree (6ft tall) that produced seed pods. Can I start new trees from these seeds? Thanks in advance! ~Jane~

|The seed pods can be allowed to dry on the tree and then collected. Whether or not the seeds are viable depends on many factors so you won't know until you try planting the seeds. Fill pots with moistened potting soil, set the seeds on the surface of the potting soil and gently push them in so they make good contact with the soil. Keep the soil moist and set the pots in a shaded area outdoors. With any luck they will germinate. Good luck with your project!
