just got fertilizer lime seed and grub controll for my front lawn,in wat order sould I do this THANK YOU |
Wow! You had fun at the garden center, didn't you? Start with the seeds. Rake the bare areas first, then broadcast your seed (or overseed your entire lawn if that's what you have in mind). Water the lawn well to push the seeds down so they make good contact with the soil. They should germinate in 7-10 days. After you've mowed your lawn 2-3 times you can apply your fertilizer. Wait a week or two and apply your grub control. Lime is traditionally applied in the fall. Best wishes with your lawn! |
