I have a area in my yard that gets very damp.It is difficult to get anything to grow there. It does get alot of sun, but if it rains it is extremley wet. Is there anything I can plant there that will survive? I have planted a few Day lilly's and they seem to be ok, but I would like something else as well.

You could install a curtain drain to help redirect the water or you can use plants that tolerate soggy soils. Here are a few to choose from:
