a draping annual - Knowledgebase Question

I saw someones front porch with a draping multi colored flower, it look great. I tried to duplicate it last year with morning glories that i started a month before indoors. i had little sucess, the only grew about 18 inches. should i try again or try another plant

I'd try again, with a different plant. There are multi-colored petunias (called Super-tunia's), Calibrochia (million bells), and Nasturtiums that are easy to grow and produce that beautiful trailing and colorful effect you're seeking. Enjoy!
