Where is the best place to plant my australian sword ferns? They have been in containers leftover from a wedding for over a month!

Australian Sword Fern (Nephrolepis obliterata) will grow in full sun to part shade in moist, well draining soils. I'd plant them in an area that gets a few hours of morning sunshine and then shade from the hot afternoon sunshine. Amend the soil with lots of compost or other organic matter prior to planting. Enjoy!
