|We have 3 aspen trees that have been in about 10 years, but in the last three years they have started growing large amounts of shoots into the surrounding lawn. Is there any way to get rid of the shoots without killing the trees?

|Unfortunately, there is no easy way to control aspen suckers. Herbicides could possibly harm both the tree and the lawn. A hint: The smaller they are the easier it is to mow or snap them off. Wish I had more encouraging news!
