We are having a spring snowstorm here in Utah. Last week I planted five flats of alyssum as garden border throughout my gardens. Will they be ruined by this snow/cold temperatures? Also, same for my container garden flowers -- wave petunias, daisies, grasses, etc.

I'd move the container plants somewhere under cover - in a garage, garden shed, covered porch, etc. to protect them from the storm. The Alyssum may be damaged by the cold temperatures. If possible, cover them with straw or pine needles or other lightweight insulation until the storm passes. Best wishes with your new plants!
