My boxwood bushes attract small insects that look like mini sweat bees. Is there a way to get rid of them without harming the hummingbirds that come to hanging baskets beside them?

Boxwoods develop tiny flowers with a nice fragrance that attracts bees. Flowering lasts only 2-3 weeks and once the flowers fade the bees won't be quite so interested in the shrubs. I'd just wait it out. The bees will be gone in a few weeks.
