Balcony garden - Knowledgebase Question

I live in a hi rise in West New York NJ. I have a balcony with 3 window boxes. I have afternoon sun. Tried of planting impatients would like something different. Have loads of spider plants and gerniums. Would like something different. What would grow with my sun and look colorful! Thanks.

Sounds like you have nice exposure to sunshine. If so, why not plant petunias, nasturtiums, coreopsis, salvia and dianthus (pinks) in your window boxes. Enjoy the color!
