Are these flowers good for cutting? What happens when the flower bud withers, do I cut it off?

You can cut the flowers off to use in arrangements. Cut them off before they open to take indoors. If you leave the flowers on the plants and the petals fall off, cut the flowering stems down but leave the foliage alone to die back on its own. Once that happens, pull the leaves off the plants. Next year they will bloom again for you. Enjoy!
