What are safe ferts and nutrients for a yard with many dogs. I heard some plants and tree leaves are bad for dogs. I want to fert. plant grass, trees,perennials. What grasses,plants and trees are the safest for dogs

I'd use organic fertilizers - These include organic materials such as:
chicken manure, and feathers, for nitrogen;
composted guano, and rock phosphate, for phosphates;
seaweed meal for potassium;
bone meal for phosphates and calcium.
