what is the best way to save leftover seeds that were not used this year

Heat, light and moisture are the enemies of of seeds so store your leftover seeds in a mason jar or other jar with a screw-on top and set it in a cool, dark place. I put mine on the floor of a seldom used closet or cupboard but I also make a note on my calendar where I stashed them so I know where to look for them the following spring.
