When a plant tag says full sun, it generally means 6-8 hours of direct sunshine each day. A part sun location equates to either 3-4 hours of morning sun or 3-4 hours of afternoon sun. A shady spot refers to no direct sunshine, but bright light all day long. Hope this clarifies things for you!
