|Have strawberries growing in clay/sand/loam mix ground soil. Plants and berries do well but where the berries touch the ground they develop rot at the contact area. Don't know what to do to stop this condition. Please help. Thanks.

|The key is to place an organic mulch beneath the berries so they won't make contact with the ground. You can use straw or shredded bark to elevate the berries, keep them clean and keep them from rotting. Enjoy your berries!
