I have a new indoor ivy house plant, the leaf is the 3 part type, anyhow I have had it a few weeks and it seems to be thinning out from the center of the pot. It is in a medium light room so it does not get direct sunlight...what's the best way to care for it as far as light, water, etc.?

Bright light is best for your ivy, but no direct sunlight. Water regularly, allowing the top half inch of soil to dry out between waterings. To keep your ivy plant full and producing lots of new stems and leaves, pinch out the growing tips of each stem. This will force new growth towards the center of the plant. Enjoy your ivy!
