I live in Statesboro GA and I planted Bogenvelia this year. They are losing all there blooms and the leaves are falling off. I watered but I didn't think excessively. Thorough watering about every three days. Why are they suffering.

I think you're overwatering your bougainvillea. You have clay soil which holds lots of water. Even if the top of the soil looks dry, there's still lots of water down by the roots of your plants. By watering every 3 days, you're keeping the soil too moist at the root zone. To check, dig down near your plant. I think you'll find the soil is really moist. If so, water deeply only once each week. Your plant should perk up in a few weeks. Sooner, I hope!
