Here is a link for reference (http://gallery.me.com/jadigidy...)

1) I have a bush, not sure what it is. I think it is some kind of honeysuckle, but not sure. If it is, is this a good time to cut it back or should I wait until after flowering? (Shrub 1)
2) Otto Luykens have finished blooming, can I cut them back?
3) This pine looks dead, should I cut it down?
Thanks

Unless your shrub produces flowers that look like a honeysuckle, I'm not convinced it is - but I could be wrong. It looks to me like a very healthy photinia (red tip photinia). If you have a different opinion, send a photo when it is in bloom and we'll be able to positively determine its identity. I wouldn't prune it until after it flowers. You can prune your Otto Lykens now and, yes, your pine tree should be cut down. I don't think there's any hope for it! Probably make good fire wood, though. Thanks for the photos!
