How can I get my 8ft high & wide bougainvilla flower plant to come back after the florida's winter frost ?
please help .

Bougainvilleas are not especially frost tolerant but generally the roots will remain alive even if the tops die down. Prune back the dead parts of the plant, even if that means cutting it down to ground level. If the roots are healthy they will send up new shoots. Start at the top and begin pruning. If you find green tissue in the branch, it indicates it's still alive and you can stop pruning. If it is brown just beneath the bark, it's dead so prune down a little lower on the branch. Keep pruning until you find green tissue. Good luck with your bougainvillea.
