The birds are eating all of our seedlings. What can we do?

There's a product called bird netting that you can place over your seedlings. Just drive a few 2' stakes in the ground around your new seedlings and drape the birdnetting over the stakes. This will provide a barrier to the birds but still allow sunshine and fresh air to reach your seedlings. Once they have grown taller, the birds won't be quite so interested in them and you can remove the birdnetting.
