I recently planted calla lilies in containers. Can I winter them over in containers, and if so, how best to do so?

Thank you.

You can only overwinter them in the containers if you can move the containers to a cool but above-freezing area during the winter months. I'm afraid the rhizomes will freeze if left outdoors. I just take mine into a garage, leave them in the containers and allow the soil to dry out. In the spring I take them outdoors and begin watering them again. This should work for you, too.
