This is more a comment than a question. After purchasing a small rhodo a number of years ago, I had 2 seasons of bloom and then nothing for the last several years. The schrub just grew and grew. The foliage looked so healthy but not a single flower. I was at my wit's end. Then the other day I noticed flower buds all over the plant. In nature, patience is a virtue.

You're absolutely right! Patience is a virtue. Many plants march to a different drummer and perform best when we don't interfere. I know your rhodie will dazzle you with its flowers. Enjoy!
