are azealas easy to make plants from cuttings?where do I cut on the plant? Is root ton ok?

You can take tip cuttings from azaleas, dip the cut end in rooting hormone and plant them in containers. I can take a full year for the cuttings to develop roots and for some reason they seem to root better when cuttings are taken in the winter rather than the spring. Just take 4-6 inch branch tips, strip the lower leaves, dip the cut end in Rootone and plant the cuttings in a nursery pot filled with potting soil. Keep the soil moist but not soggy wet.
