Hi I purchased a weeping cherry tree snow fountain from hd. Is it normal that is doesn't have any green leaves or anything at all. Just bare branches. Thanks

It might be a tad early for flowers and leaves, especially if you've recently planted your tree. Sometimes newly transplanted trees spend their time establishing their roots before you see any new top growth. You can scrape the bark off one of the branches and look for green tissue. If you find it, the branch is alive - the tree is just pouting. If you find no green tissue directly beneath the bark, that part of the branch is dead. Keep scraping until you find live wood. If none, I'd return the tree!
