|Aphids are really difficult to control. I hose them off the new growth as soon as I see them and sometimes go after them with Insecticidal soap sprays. There's really not much else you can do other than to use an organic pesticide such as Bonide?s Total Pest Control. The active ingredient is a pyrethroid type insecticide (made from a special kind of chyrsanthemum) so it's one of the least toxic insecticides you can use. This might be the answer to your aphid problem.
