My buttercup plant has been infested with aphids. The leaves are all but gone with just a few yellow flowers here and there. I did use an aphid spray. Not sure if I should cut it down and hope it will grow back. Please help this was such a full beautiful plant.

Thanks

Your Ranunculus will develop more leaves as soon as it recovers from the aphid feeding. I'd just leave it alone for now and wait to see what happens. I suspect that it will rest for about a month and then send up new leaves and new flowers. By then I hope the aphids are gone!
