My buttercup plant has been infested with aphids. The leaves are all but gone with just a few yellow flowers here and there. I did use an aphid spray. Not sure if I should cut it down and hope it will grow back. Please help this was such a full beautiful plant. Thanks MJ from Punta Gorda, FL |
Your Ranunculus will develop more leaves as soon as it recovers from the aphid feeding. I'd just leave it alone for now and wait to see what happens. I suspect that it will rest for about a month and then send up new leaves and new flowers. By then I hope the aphids are gone! |
