|Roses need 6-8 hours of direct sunshine in order to grow well. You can plant them in containers, but you'll need to keep them outdoors or they won't thrive. Use 3-gallon sized containers and fill them with potting soil rather than garden soil. As the roses become more mature you'll need to move them into larger pots. Water them as required (when the soil begins to dry out), feed them with a rose food every 6 weeks during the growing season, and give them lots of sunshine. They should thrive. Hope so!
