I ruined this bush by pruning at the wrong time of year. I thought I had killed it but it did manage to produce a few sparse blooms this year -- any suggestions for how to revive the poor thing? |
Honeysuckle develops flowers on the new growth of the season so pruning it back a little as it begins to grow in the spring should result in lots of new growth and lots of flowers. Full sunshine is best for your honeysuckle. To promote even more flowers, feed with a bloom booster type fertilizer in the springtime. (A fertilizer with a higher middle number such as a 10-20-10.) Hope this information is helpful. |
