I have a problem with a type of bug which looks like a beetle (somewhat green in color). The chew the leaves on my beans and my fmaily calls them

I think the term love bugs is nice, but I suspect they are really stink bugs! Stink bugs have some enemies, including several common species of birds. However, as their name implies, stink bugs repel many predators by giving off an offensive odor. You can control these pests with Rotenone (Rotenone Garden Dust by Bonide) or Rotenone Spray. Be sure to apply according to label directions.
