|I have several lilacs, last summer two of them got their leaves burnt and crispy, even though all plants were in the same enviorment????

|If the tips of the leaves turned crispy (as opposed to entire leaves) you may be dealing with bacterial blight rather than sunscald. To control bacterial blight, prune the stems back about 10" below the affected leaves and remove the diseased plant material from the garden. Use a copper based fungicide to protect your lilacs.
