Blueberry plants can be grown 5' apart if you want a hedgerow, or 6-8 feet apart if you want individual plant specimens. Blueberries produce a better berry crop if a second variety of blueberry is grown in the landscape. Yours is a highbush type blueberry plant, You'll need another blueberry bush for cross-pollination. Expect a crop the third year after you plant your blueberry plants. Your blueberries are shrubs and can be pruned into a mounded shape in the very early spring, just as new growth begins but before they develop flowers. No caging tor staking should be required. Best wishes with your blueberries!
