|When do I prune and shape (smoothing tops, etc) my deciduous and evergreen shrubs after spring growth?

|I like to shear them in early spring just as new growth is beginning to show. The growth they develop after pruning will help hide the pruning cuts. There's still time. Prune now if they are not the flowering kinds. If they do flower, wait until after they have finished flowering and prune them then. Best wishes with your shrubs!
