I have one kiwi tree a few years old and it is growing nicely. I thought I heard that kiwi needs male/female. 1. Is this correct?
2. If so, how do i determine if mine is male or female?'
thanks

It's true - there are separate male and female holly plants. Only the female will produce fruit and only if a male is in the neighborhood. You can determine the gender of your plant by looking closely at the flowers. Female Kiwi flowers will have white center filaments that extend above the yellow centers. Male flowers have yellow centers but no tall white filaments.
