Bought tree 4 years ago. Granted, it does get wet from neighbor's drain, but flowers nicely, just very few leaves anytime. Now a few are red! Fertilized w/ high nitrogren to encourage leaves after flowers fell, even threw in some acid loving fertilizer too. No improvement. Next??? |
Sounds like you've done almost everything possible to encourage healthy new growth. About the only thing you haven't done is prune your serviceberry back a little. Pruning encourages new growth so try pruning. If the roots are healthy the serviceberry will respond to pruning with healthy new growth. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. |
