|I had a new sod lawn installed three weeks ago and now I have a large patch of mushrooms coming up. Anything I can do without hurting the lawn?

|The mushrooms are growing because of decomposing organic matter and really wet conditions. I'd rake out the mushrooms before the spores mature which will help stop new mushrooms from emerging. As soon as the roots of the sod penetrate the soil and the organic matter decomposes a little more, you won't have mushrooms sprouting up. It's quite common and nothing to worry about. I'd just rake them out of the lawn.
