Your new Mandevilla is a tender plant and it won't survive your winter weatherif planted outdoors, but you can enjoy it both indoors and out if you keep it in a container. Take it outdoors in the spring and summer months but take it back indoors in the fall before the temperatures drop down to 50F or below. You can prune it back to make it more manageable and grow it inside in bright light and average household temperatures during the winter months. Enjoy your new plant!
