I just purchased two corn plants (dracaena). Even though they are houseplants, can I plant them outside, and if so, what does medium light mean? Thank you.

Dracaena will grow outdoors in frost free areas. If you plant yours outdoors, be sure to cover them if frosty winter weather visits your garden. Plant your dracaena in a bright but shady spot. They will sunburn if they receive direct sunshine but they will grow fastest if they receive bright, indirect light. The shadier the spot, the deeper the color and the slower the growth. Enjoy your new plants.
