There's a fungal disease called Pansy Wilt that causes sudden wilting of pansies. The crowns of the plants are affected and the disease can remain in the soil so if that's what caused the problem you won't want to plant pansies in that same spot for a couple of years. Other causes of wilting are hot weather, water stress, and over fertilization. Wish I could be more specific but without being able to inspect the plant, I can only offer general information. I'd clip off the dead or dying leaves and stems. If the roots are healthy they will develop new stems and leaves. Best wishes with your pansies.
