I have a sandy dirt mix soil. Is there a grass seed I can use that would be successful? If not, is there anything else I could do? Thanks, Jen

Some of the tougher grasses grow well in sandy soils. These include Bahia, Centipede, Zoysia, Bermuda, Little Bluestem, Buffalo and fescue grasses. Amending the planting area with organic matter prior to planting your grass will help the soil hold water and nutrients. Best wishes with your lawn.
