|Potatoes are traditionally planted in March or in late August so you've either missed the opportunity to plant them, or you're a little too early. Seed potatoes are generally available in garden centers in February for planting in March so you may have to hunt around to see if anyone has any left. Or, you can order through catalogs (Ronniger Potato Farm has an online catalog). If you order seed potatoes now you can store and then plant them in late August for a late crop. Best wishes with your endeavor!
