I accidentely broke off the tip or bloom off my Bromeliad indoor plant. Will a new bloom grow back?

Probably not. Most bromeliads flower only once and this flowering period can last for several weeks or even several months. Once the bloom has faded, it is trimmed off by cutting the flower stem off at the base. After blooming, pups or baby plants usually develop around the older center and the center may die off at that time. The pups can be gently separated off and repotted to make more plants. I'd leave the bloom alone until you know for sure it is dying or dead. At that time cut it away from the plant and wait for new little plants to develop. Enjoy your bromeliad!
