My red yucca has not put on a new stalk this year is there something wrong? Everybody around me that has has a stalk and blooms.

Although the flowering is slow on young plant, they do eventually flower when the temperatures soar. I think your yucca will flower earlier in the season when it matures a little more. Just be patient and it will flower for you within a month or so. Enjoy!
