I see you have Daphne -Carol Mackie--it says-fruit-red-summer--what kind of fruit? berries? alot? Can the schrumb be trimmed to stay at around 2 1/2 ft. tall? When do you prine?

and finally-how much woulda decent size cost? MAYBE 2 X 2?

Thanks so much-I've seen this and really like it.

Daphne x burkwoodii 'Carol Mackie' grows 3-4' tall and wide and you can prune it to keep it about 2 1/2' tall and wide. You'd prune after it has finished flowering. If you do this, the plant will not produce berries. If you do not prune, it will develop small red berries which are attractive to birds. I can't quote a price for you - it varies depending upon region and garden center. Enjoy your garden!
