I recently bought TAPD2956 blueberry plant from Home Depot and planted it. In case I decide to plant another blueberry in my yard, does it need to be the exact same variety - that is TAPD2956, in order to get optimal amount of fruits from both ?

Thanks

If you have a choice at the garden center, look for Sharpblue blueberry. It is the most adaptable variety to low chill areas such as yours and in your mild climate, plants retain leaves to rebloom and ripen fruit nearly year around. If you don't have a choice, any of the blueberries in your garden center will work for cross pollination.
