my green leafed begonias turned brownish purple two days after they were planted. the rest of the flat that wasn't planted is still green. why?

Cool overnight temperatures can cause the color change, as can exposure to bright sunshine. Either cause will right itself with time. The leaf color will return to the green you expect when the plants adjust to their new growing spots.
