| Using the liquid deterrents should help keep the critters away but you can also cage your plants by placing a wire cylinder over each of them until they grow up a bit. I don't know whether or not your dahlias will produce another stem. Probably so because dahlia tubers generally have several eyes or growth buds. If the tuber had several eyes on it, a new stem or two will develop on your plant within a few weeks. Hope this is the case! |
