New to gardening.... My new house has Azaleas that began blooming about one month ago and the flowers just withered. Is this typical that they die so soon? Is there something I should do to care for azaleas in particular? Thank you

Most Azaleas flower once in the spring and the flowers usually last about 3 weeks (more or less, depending upon cultivar). There are Encore Azaleas that will rebloom later in the season. You'll know which type you have by watching to see whether or not they rebloom. You can remove the faded flowers or just allow them to fall off on their own. Hope this answers your question!
